Christmas in Cotuit has become a wonderful Village celebration – a fun day of activities and events that kick off the Christmas season. This year’s fun takes place on Saturday, December 7.
The full schedule for the day is as follows:
9:00 – 3:00 Cotuit Center for the Arts will hold its Members and Faculty Arts and Crafts Market.
10:00 – 4:00 Christmas in Cotuit’s 19th Annual Holiday Arts & Crafts Festival at Freedom Hall: Creations of Cotuit’s own artists: Belts and Buckles and paintings, pottery, photographs, prints, drawings, jewelry, ornaments, marlin spike art, jams, jellies and Christmas wreaths.
10:00 – 5:00 Historical Society – Visit the Gift Shop for holiday shopping! We have new and unique items for the holidays as well as our great selection of “Cotuit-wear”.
10:00-12:00 Historical Society – Bring the children to paint a wooden ornament for your tree and enjoy some cookies and cider. Come early as this is a popular event!
10:00 – 4:00 The Cotuit Kettleers Store at Lowell Park will be open. This will be your last chance to purchase those great holiday gifts for your family, friends, co-workers, etc. And remember championship gear as well!
10:00 – 3:00 At Cotuit Federated Church, Bruce Hall, don’t miss the 18th Annual Small Works Art Show & Sale, featuring original works by local artists, perfect for holiday gift-giving!
10:00 – 4:00 Cahoon Museum of American Art: Free admission all day! Come explore the Museum and see the latest art exhibitions including Soo Sunny Park: Boundary Conditions, and Gretchen Romey-Tanzer: Inspirations.
10:00 – 2:00 CFC’s Cotuit Women’s Fellowship Gift Baskets Sale at Bruce Hall.
11:00 – 5:00 Cotuit Fresh Market Main Street Tastings. Music from 11-12:00
12:00 – 2:00 Cotuit Fire Station Open House with free Firehouse Chili
12:15 – 3:15 Horse Drawn Carriage Rides starting at the Post Office with last carriage ride leaving at 3:00.
